Just discovered 'Nebulous', the last episode of the series is currently on i-player

It parodies the ripoff, and other British sci-fi such as the Quatermass experiment and perhaps Inspector Spacetime. It involves Mark Gatiss, who you Whoovians may know also got involved in that show.

There is "The Amazing Lollipop Man" from an episode of "Doctors" a medical soap. Which features Slyvester McCoy who plays Graham Capellii who played "The Amazing Lollipop Man"

Also in an episode of "Press Gang" called "UnXpected" Michael Jayston plays "Professor X"
Michael Jayston played the Valeyard in Doctor Who and Steven Moffat wrote every episode of "Press Gang"
