Thanks, kenjin and LL.

Yeah, I know far too much about soundtracks. I've been collecting them since I was a kid (and I'm 45 now, so that's...oh, decades). ;)

Thank you Rhythm Instigator for the concern. I know the chances I take using music like that. But the connexion is too strong of a pull.

I hope to have it finished today or tomorrow...

Well, for better or worse, it's finished.

That is hilarious! I think it would be interesting to have a uk phone ring and/or dialtone as part of the music

Excellent and ambitious work. The mix of styles and ages is a little disconcerting, but other than that it's really amazing.

I thought about that, but went with a windup and tick for the 1984 version. Partly because UK phones ring in 5/4 time (2 rings and then 3 rests), which can sound really odd in music. Ill see if I can sneak it into my planned 96 version.

I rejigged the 1984 version a little. Probably nothing most people will notice. The main thing is adding a second synthesizer to the second melody line and clearing out some background clutter for the third one.

Thanks. I did try to mix up the entirity of the Doctor's openings in one sequence. I know it's not in the same direction as the thread is going but it had been in the works before I got here.

I am, however, not adverse to doing another one with a tune created specifically for the show.

Both are great, I think I can hear a difference in the '84 now, sounds better. Can't wait to hear the other versions!

Thanks, Carty. 1962 version is up. 1975 version should be done soon - I just need to do a final mixdown and create the single sleeve.

Nah, as everyone knows, the IS theme became iconic because of its bombastic arrangement and the completly lack of any electronic sound...

and it is written in the mysterios Aeolian mode - a musical mode that makes you feeling guilty and inconvenient.

I vote for this.

Well, nonetheless. Here's the 1975 version:

Ok, gang, it's done. With all due props to teaflax, I think this Inspector Spacetime Theme is amazing. It's darker, and more orchestral than DW, which I think reflects the tone of Inspector Spacetime.

It's free to use and do anything you want to with, as long as you include the attached text wherever you happen to post it.

I didn't make this, but I really vote to have this be the "official" theme song. (most recent version). AndI think Brian Giovanni should get credit for his amazing work.

I spent way too much time creating an opening title sequence with it. I'll be posting it to my Youtube channel tomorrow, but I'm hoping someone out there can do a better job of it. :-)
