1. Edward hartles 1962-63 2. Christopher Lee 63-66 3. Bernard Fox 66-70 4. Marius Goring 70-76 a show from 68 to 76 5. Lynda Bellingham 76-77 6. Graham Chapman 80-82 7.Stephen Fry 85-86 8. Steve Carrell 2003 9. mark williams 2006 10. Christopher Obi 2006-2010 11. Travis Richey 2010-present I think this reflects the current ideas Can we adapt this to give Williams two seasons? That gives one season for Rory and one for Lily. We can just have it revive a year earlier? Also-- is it possible to give Chapman more years? Someone on tumblr had the muppet episode being the eighth ep of the fourth season. Could always be changed, but then he slid from the very dark to the rather strange a bit quickly. Lee could probably be shortened. According to TVT he just did the two movies. Sorry! I didn't look closely before.

Jeffrey is possibly brought back to life as a zombie at one point.

And the show slowly tapers off and Stephen Fry steps in and, well, we all know how that goes.

Probably. Be more fun to do a Halloween special. Or Purim special instead. Or Chanukah with a single episode split into mini-sodes released each night. However, as it is subject to the networks, it'd probably be Christmas.

So, is the Tenth Inspector's final episode a Christmas special, or is Eleven's first appearance in a Christmas special. If we're following the model of the Show That Shall Not Be Named, then we're writing Eleven's first appearance in seasaon five.

Start up a season earlier. IS revived, which is what gave the Ripoff the idea to do so as well. Williams gets two seasons, leaving at the same time as 9 on the Ripoff.
Or, push it back two years earlier even. So that our 9th leaves a year before 9 does. That gives 11th an extra year which we can give to the Constable, letting Angie officially enter the scene as an Associate around the same time as Amy.
Oh! And is anyone concerned by the fact that tumblr seems to believe that the 11th has already ended his tenure?

I think people submit to isconfessions without realizing that there's a whole "lore" behind IS now.

I saw that, too!
There are a lot of confessions that don't fit with what we've established, so I just tend to ignore them.
ETA: Maybe we could get the admin to ad some links to the TV Tropes page, or here, or the wiki so that people can check their confessions/discover the fandom more.

Well.... there was an early post, that I ignored (mostly). Tis where I got Bernard Fox. Anyway, post talked about Terry O'Higgins as 12th and Tracey Ullman as 13th. Oh well. I'm not linking to tumblr when I make Yuletide requests. Linking here and to the wiki and to my post (unless the wiki is more detailed by then). ETA: Or all three? Tropes has a lot of info, but is hard to take in. Wiki would be best, but the wiki is still very incomplete.

Um, I was thinking, since the first Inspector is the only one without a real actor, maybe we should find him a real person after all?
Peter Cushing wasn't doing anything in 1963. But in 1965 he went on to play the Doctor in those two really horrible "Dr. Who" movies.
Thatcouldbeinteresting.
Or would you rather stick with Edward?

Hi, just discovered the existence of all this canon! Been doing a bit of work on it myself. As far as a real actor for the 1st Inspector goes, if you are looking to replace Hartles, I discovered Leslie French was the first choice for the rip-off copycat show that came around a year later. It is possible he wasn't available for it as he was doing IS. I think he looks the part: www.bbc.co.uk/archive/imageArchive/images/10303_gall_003.jpg

Hannah Spearitt for Lily Taylor? (She's about the same age as Billie and therefore available at the same time and, obviously, they're both 90s popstars.)

Don't know if that helps or hinders
