There should be something about the fact that Inspector Spacetime is allegedly based on a lost Shakespeare play entitled 'Not Where But Whence' circa 1598. It is, however, impossible to prove this since the original manuscript was shredded by the BBC in the early 1980's in a zealous recycling drive.
